Promothreads Continues Growth and Expansion

Labor of love, a 22 year journey to unlimited success for a local screen print, embroidery and promotional products shop

Many say the taste of success is sweet. Who wouldn't agree? Just what defines success though? Many in business measure their success only by dollars and cents. To be sure, who goes into business without the goal of making a profit?

The Brisbin brothers, Bill and Robert, hold a broader view of success. Please don't misunderstand, profitability is and always has been important to them. In their opinion however, it's just not the total sum of the equation. They both believe, as does the rest of their team, that you have to enjoy what you do and be passionate about helping others. "There's no other way to be," says Robert. "As a Christian based business we always strive to do what is right."

Many know, as previously reported, their journey started with an idea and a part time effort back in 1997. Bill had just returned home from active duty military service in the Army. Robert was living the corporate life with the Vanguard Group. In those humble beginnings they both forged a balanced mindset as to how this business would serve its customers.

The internet was young then. Even so, they could see how the marketplace would probably be impacted by it. They determined that, in spite of any changes the internet might bring along, they would continue to give their customers quality personalized service.

Their commitment to that decision continues to pay off . The personal touch has fallen out of the equation for many businesses today as they reach for more and more numbers through the leveraging of technology. Many Promothreads customers have come to appreciate the personal touch still present there.

For ten years running, Promothreads has continued to serve the uniform needs of two of the largest youth sports programs in the local area. The Huntersville Youth Athletic Association and  Lake Norman Little League. Both organizations are reported to have over a thousand participants each year. Promothreads owners and staff are honored to serve these community programs and truly love doing it. Each season, the staff voluntarily sets up at a field or complex location for players to try on uniform sizes and hand process the orders.

The business has grown in other ways over the years as well. Diversity in terms of their customer base and in-house support staff has always been key to their success.

In addition to the three co-owners, Promothreads employs a Director of Sales and Marketing, a Sales Executive, an Office Administrator, and three full-time screen-print/embroidery production team members.

They've surely come a long way since those early days. Today, the Promothreads team occupies a 1600 square foot space for administration and production at 19824-C W. Catawba Avenue in Cornelius, NC. Direct to garment printing and embroidery operations are run from this location. Stop by to say hello if you're in the market for branded apparel with old fashioned quality service.

You can also find them at Promothreads.com and Promothreads.net for promotional items.
